Abstract：The Liao Dynasty was established by khidan race. There were nine emperors and fifteen queens, who had far-reaching influence on the politics in Liao Dynasty. The Fuxin is not only the cradle and hometown of Khidan nationality, but also the cemetery. It promoted Fuxin′s prosperity. Fuxin is one of the important areas of Liao Dynasty, producing the ruling race with five queens of the emperors and the queen mothers from the family Shaw, especially from the family Xiao. The article analyses the regent system and the traditional marriage customs in Fuxin region in order to study the influence on the political life in Liao Dynasty.
